CS:GO gets negative overload reviews on steam

CS:GO went free on steam and added a new battle royal mode called Danger. This decision was met with an onslaught of negative view of over 14 000 strong.  Lots of negative views are linked to the free play of the game. Lots of players feel done in by the system. Players spend money on the game and played hundreds of hours. Only to find that the game is free now.

If you bought the game CS:GO before 7 December 2018 you received a loyalty badge. Many people feel that this is a cheap slap in the face. Some player wants exclusive skins and weapons as a show of appreciation. Many players have gone as far as asking for a full refund. On the darker side players stated that with free play the game would be vulnerable to cheaters and hackers.       

Things like this will occur from time to time. Not so long ago some of my friends purchased destiny 2 only to find it as part f the free games on PlayStationNetwork monthly games. Like anything that has a $ linked to it, if you wait long enough it will be cheaper and games are no exception. Keep it real and remember “never stop bashing those buttons”.
