Rage has come and gone, now the wait begins all over again. This year’s rage was an exceptional one for the memory bank. Let’s dive in.
Fun fact rage 2017 extended the floor space this year. The reason for the size adjustment was because the increase width in the aisles to prevent congestion. Rage’s 2017 main draw cards are new games and new tech, making it available to anyone grasp and enjoy.
Under the games pillar there were a couple of new games that I tried out for the first time. Injustice 2 ( humbled of times ). Forza has always been a favorite of mine and it did not disappoint. PlayStation brought their A game with Grand tourismo sport and VR was popular like always. There are a bunch of games released recently and with some interesting titles yet to come. Now if I just had a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
I was pleasantly surprised with a South African developed game called Jengo. The game falls under the adventure based game , point and click. The dialog is slick and pays homage to older games of the same genre and throwback to the 90’s. There was auditions to voice a character in the game , look out for it in 2018.
We were privileges to witness game play from the new upcoming Spider-man game and new god of war installment. Spider man looks slick and polished and cannot wait where the story line will take us on the adventure. God of war has a unbelievable scale that makes your surroundings larger than life. It blurs the lines between normal enemies and boss fights , truly spectacular.
With VS gaming coming into the fold this year it brings competitive gaming into light. There is no doubt in my mind that we have great talent in our country eager to take on the rest of the world.
Rage will always hold a special place in my heart and I will be attending next year without fail. With the great giveaways \specials and great prizes you would be daft not to do the same. See you next year.
