Shadow of the Tomb Raider update version 1.09.

Square Enix just dropped the latest patch for Pc, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That last update was adding the latest DLC to the game, let check in to see what is new.

The latest patch is just under 1.4 GB for the PlayStation 4 variant. Xbox one has is similar in size. The patch notes refer to various bug fixes which are a little vague, to say the least. The second line states the addition of the free trial function.  The pc version gets different variations to the consoles. This game has had various patches since the release back in September.

Update 1.06 for Xbox One and PS4 – October 19, 2018

• Fixed an issue where reloading just as you opened a locked strongbox would not make it count towards 100% completion.
• Fixed a progression blocker in a Peruvian Jungle crypt, causing a stone pillar to disappear.
• Fixed a progression blocker in Trial of the Eagle.
• Fixed a progression blocker in the Mission of San Juan library.
• Fixed a progression blocker in Lara’s dream.
• Fixed an issue where Unuratu would become invisible during the prison escape.
• Fixed an issue where jaguars would freeze in place.
• Improvements to enemy AI perception.
• Fixed an issue on PS4 where some sounds would not be consistent with Lara’s position and the camera’s perspective.

Update 1.05 for Xbox One and PS4 – October 8, 2018

• Fixed remaining issues preventing some players from achieving 100% completion.
• Fixed an issue where the “Dr. Croft” achievement/trophy would not unlock.
• Fixed an issue where Rare Resource Caches would not be interactable after deciphering a Monolith.
• Fixed an issue where the Champion’s Bow side mission would not start.
• Fixed an issue where the Knife upgrade would not be granted after finishing the Stay of Execution side mission, making it impossible to receive the “That’s a knife!” achievement/trophy.
• Fixed a progression blocker some players experienced in Lara’s dream.
• Fixed progression blockers some players experienced in Kuwaq Yaku.
• Fixed various additional issues.
