The PS4 has been around the block a couple of times now. Recently Sony has announced their latest model in the PS4 Pro-line-up

When you hear about a new console launch you always think bigger and better. In this case, it is the opposite.  The latest model dubbed PS4 Pro CUH-7200 has two party tricks. The first is that it now runs a lot quitter regardless of what game you play. The decibel lever dips below 50 at around 44 to 48. It might not seem by a lot but there is a noticeable difference.

Next up it will eat a little bit less electricity. This is thanks to utilizing the same plug design as the PS4 slim. We do not have the numbers but suspect it is a little twitch. So is it really worth it go out and upgrade your PS4 pro – a no, unless you have dog hearing. It is not all good news, with these changes there is a downside. Because of the new design, the thermals have been changes meaning it runs a lot hotter. Before you panic, it will not overheat. Keep it real and remember “never stop bashing those buttons”.
