Forza Motorsport 7 loot boxes get removed
In a surprising move from Microsoft, Forza Motorsport 7 loot boxes have been completely removed. This is not a drill. Hop inside for more details.
One of the things I absolutely hated about Forza 7 was the horrendous loot boxes. I hated them to the core and I’m pretty sure all gamers would feel the same about this otherwise brilliant racing game. Well I have some shocking news for you guys. With the launch of the November Update, Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have completely removed all Forza Motorsport 7 loot boxes and I love them for it.
I know all Forza fans the world over are rejoicing. I’m doing the victory dance right now writing this article. It’s a great move from Turn 10. They always felt forced in and didn’t really belong in the game. As a result, removing them, makes the game that much of a better experience. Thank you, thank you…THANK YOU! The update also came with a new Race Shop feature, where players can purchase Driver Gear, Mod cards, and more with in-game currency. No credit card required!
Now if only Gran Turismo Sport could take a page out of their book and get rid of the in-app purchases they added into the game, after they said they wouldn’t. Nobody asked for that Polyphony, please do like Turn 10 and rip them out of the game. As always, keep it locked to SkyGamers for all your favourite gaming news. Happy No-loot-box-racing!
