Mexico City was lit with the excitement and energy Xbox Event.  We take a quick Microsoft X018 recap with all the coolest highlights.

With PlayStation having left a massive void with the absence of PlayStation Experience 2018, Microsoft capitalized on this by kicking off their very own Xbox Fan event.  And it was actually pretty darn good.  Sure most of the games shown are games we’ve seen before but still, there was plenty of gaming content and a clear vision from Microsoft on what lies ahead in their platform’s future.  So here’s a quick Microsoft X018 recap.

First up was the great news that PUBG is available on GamePass tomorrow.  We were also treated to a new cell shaded FPS gameplay trailer called Void Bastards.  A very unique FPS experience which we can’t wait to see more from it.  Microsoft blew the doors off the room by announcing that the First month of Xbox Game Pass will cost $1-00.  We also got to see a brand new Crackdown 3 trailer with a release date of February 15th.  Plus you get it on GamePass day one.

Crackdown team showed off new PvP mode called Wrecking zone which is a 5v5 TDM with a destructible arena.  We also got treated to  NBA 2k playgrounds 2 trailer as well as a brand new Battlefield V trailer.  Now that’s one game I can’t wait to get my hands on.  As if all that GamePass news wasn’t enough, Microsoft dropped the news that Hellblade is heading to GamePass in December 2018.  But wait there’s more, Indie game Thief of thieves joins GamePass today.

Sea of Thiefs also got some exposure with the announcement of a  PvP arena mode.  A brand new Jump force gameplay was shown off as well as it getting a release date of February 15, 2019.  State of Decay 2 will be getting the new Zed Hunter Update that includes new weapons and gear.  Xbox is getting Mouse and Keyboard support very soon.  And finally, Microsoft has acquired more studios, Obsidian and inXile to ensure they will have a massive collection of exclusives come next gen.  We end off with a massive Mic drop.   The Xbox One X will be on sale during BlackFriday for a low price of $399-00.  That’s the price of a PS4 Pro.  Whoah!

All in all, this was a really good Event.  I do wish we could’ve seen more new games but I think Microsoft is on the right path for the upcoming generation.
