Crackdown 3 Delayed, pushed back to Spring 2018
There goes yet another Xbox One exclusive for 2017. Microsoft announced Crackdown 3 delayed to Spring 2018. And the collective Xbox One owner’s face meets palms. Click on for the bad news.
Sorry folks, no Terry Crews blowing ish up in your immediate future! Crackdown 3 delayed to Spring 2018, officially. Originally the game was intended to launch alongside the release of the Xbox One X. However, the quality of the title was a bit suspect from all gaming journalists who got to play the title at E3. The game came under a lot of fire as it really resembles the now released Agents of Mayhem. And that game looks great. So for an Xbox One X tent pole game, I can see why Microsoft would want to keep it in the oven a little longer.
And you know what, Good for you Microsoft. That, in my opinion, is a good call. Come on folks, think about it for a sec. Would you rather get a lackluster title now or a fully formed masterpiece later? Nothing is worse than a game that looks and feels unfinished. *Cough No Man’s Sky Cough*. Of cause, the flip side is that the Xbox One loses yet another exclusive game for 2017. And it’s not like they’re rolling in exclusives. No matter, there’s a great catalog of third party titles to keep you entertained. Not to mention the growing list of indie titles. So hang tight folks, Crackdown 3 will without a doubt be better when it releases thanks to the extra time the teams will have.
