We have all but seen the last of 2018 and here are some of our favorite PS4 titles that have grazes or television screens.

PS4 has had a amazing year with lots of successes, gaming is good. I am not going to grade the games but rather speak about the them in an all eggs in one basket collection. It would not be fair to pick a winner because they are all different in their own right. Let’s kick it off with the godfather – God of war. This game is simply gorgeous, Kratos for life. You will be hard pressed to find a game with a better world design full stop. It is not often that games go the route of father and son journey but this game does it perfectly. With more than 50 hours of game play, rich combat system and little load times you will be an idiot not giving this a go.

Street fighter seems to have not end with popularity as well as being a benchmark in the professional gaming arena. Street fighter 30 anniversary edition builds on this fan base. So much so that when the game was delayed due to fan feedback, if you pre ordered you got a free copy of ultra-street fighter IV for free. Essentially this game packs all of the 12 classic titles into one enjoyable game, featuring legends like street fighter 2 and various hyper and alpha incarnations. This was the birth of Ryu and Ken and part of my childhood so it resonates a lot with me.

Last but not least you cannot leave out the protagonist Lara Croft. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the definitive third-person perspective. The game boosts the largest hub in the franchise giving you options explore with side missions. Grappling hook gives you the option to grapple down cliffs. There are air pockets to aid in the swimming sections along with the redesigned control. Stealth is a key feature giving you the option to hide from enemies that out of sight. Whichever way you look at it this is a brilliant game and I love the puzzle solving, a break from the guns and punches. With the news of PS5 in the next couple of years now is the time to get the most out of your PS4.

Keep it real and remember “never stop bashing those buttons”
