A triumphant return to high-end gaming GPU’s for team red with the AMD RX Vega.  What we have here, is the most powerful Radeon GPU ever.  Let’s take a look at this new hardware.

Recently, I wrote an article detailing the possible specs of a PS5 console.  In that article, I speculated that in some form or another, a version of this AMD Vega would make it into the console.  Now, AMD has officially launched the most powerful Radeon GPU they’ve ever made, the AMD RX Vega.  This is a true return to high-end gaming by Team-Red.  AMD has capitalised on value GPU and staying out of the High-end battle, dominated by nVidia.  This changes everything.  They’ll be going toe-to-toe with the Big Green giant.   Vega will come in 3 flavours, RX Vega 64 Air-cooled.  RX Vega 64 Liquid-cooled.  And finally the RX Vega 56 air-cooled.  All the above will have 8 GB of HBM2 memory and be packing a 2048-bit memory interface.  Check out the full specs below.

I can’t wait to see what this beast does in benchmarks against the mighty GTX 1080.  For all things gaming, keep it locked to SkyGamers.co.za.  Happy Benchmarking!
